30 days of lists, finally

I'm finally ready to share one of my lists! I hated the first few I made and then stopped making them. Then I realized trying to make beautiful decorated lists isn't my thing, but I do dig just writing them out.

I know this is yesterday's list, but I wanted to share this one especially because I'm still really bummed out about the death of Andy Whitfield, who played Spartacus. That show was my jam, guys. I'm a sucker for hilariously extravagant sex and violence, I won't lie. I thought the show was top notch and Andy was so great in the title role. It was really heartbreaking to hear he lost his fight with cancer this month.

On a lighter note, I bet my other two choices made it into a bunch of people's lists! I still feel gypped about their cancellations.

hello september

Hi blog-o-pals, I'm dropping by the blog to make a few ~tiny announcements . First--that my absence has been due to the the Universe's apparent hatred of me, and I have been living caveman style without internet for over a week. Now, after 2 or 3 hours of phone calls with AT&T, I'm back online and ready to finally bring my blog to life again. I'm working on some exciting projects that I can't wait to share with you all, and it won't be long before I can.

One project I can mention is 30 Days of Lists, which I am really excited to be participating in, thanks to a nod to the project from Melissa over at Millie Bell. I'm one day late to the listing shenanigans but I'm starting today and I'll be sharing my lists on the blog. It's not too late to register, so if you're interested, do so! It should be a great time.

And I can't welcome the month of September without tipping my hat to the second best season of the year! Fall is just around the corner and I'm admittedly very excited. I'm definitely a child of summer (June birthday and everything), but I do adore fall, and I count October as my favorite month (thanks to that most special of Holidays we celebrate at its end). So in celebration of the approaching season change, and the Holiday I most look forward to, here's a little preview of a mask-inspired sketch I've been working on.
