Who are you? I'm Sara. I am twenty-two years old and I'm an artist of the squishy monster- and tentacle-drawing variety. I live with my boyfriend, Hans, and we have three kids: an evil little cat named Kenya, a silly kitten named Kettle, and a big goofy dog named Phoenix. I go to college where I study English, and I have a weird fondness for sweeping. The thing my forever-young soul loves the most is exploring outdoors. I still play make-believe and I'll never grow up.
So what is Icky Monster? I think of the blog as a sort of scrapbook-collage of my life. An internet-style pile of bits and bobs about myself: foods I love to cook, places I have explored, animals I adore, doodles of stretchy monstery guys, pictures of my hair or the clothes I wear when I'm feeling cool, and anything else I feel like sharing.
Why would you call yourself an icky monster?! I like drawing icky monsters, so I named my blog after my monster army.
